The singer had just left the stage when an explosion rocked the venue causing carnage. The arena was packed with teenager girls and children who were attending the concert.

Ariana’s manager Scooter Braun posted a statement saying “our hearts are broken.

“Words cannot express our sorrow for the victims and families harmed in this senseless attack.

“We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act.

“We are thankful for the selfless service tonight of Manchester’s first responders who rushed towards danger to help save lives.

“We ask all of you to hold the victims, their families, and all those affected in your hearts and prayers.”

Ariana Grande, 23, is in the middle of her Dangerous Woman tour and already played Dublin and Birmingham. She is due to play two nights in London on Wednesday and Thursday but it is uncertain if these or other dates will happen.

Our deepest sympathies to those who lost loved ones.
