Both Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang airports in Bangkok will provide free parking areas for those attending the upcoming Royal Funeral of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

To cope with the large numbers expected to turn out to the Royal Funeral taking place from October 25 to October 29, Suvarnabhumi Airport will allow mourners to park in long term parking zones C, D and E from October 19 to October 30 for free, providing a total of 2,154 spaces.

There will also be buses running from the airport to Nang Leong Police Station which is roughly 2km from Sanam Luang, where the ceremonies will be taking place.

Don Mueang will be offering 1,000 free parking spaces from October 23 to October 31 in cargo areas 1, 3 and 4, they will also have a shuttle bus running during this period.
