It seems that banks are now following Tesco Lotus example who announced last week that all of their branches across the kingdom would be closing on October 26 to allow their staff to pay their final respects to the late beloved King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Both Krung Thai Bank and TMB Bank announced today that they will also close all of their branches across the kingdom on October 26, so their staff can attend Royal Cremation ceremonies taking place across the nation.

The late king’s funeral ceremonies are set to take place from October 25 to October 29 with the cremation taking place on October 26.

No official announcement has yet been made by the government regarding business closures however they have requested that entertainment be toned down out of respect during the month of October.
