Bruce Forsyth legendary TV presenter passes away aged 89

The BBC has announced that the legendary Sir Bruce Forsyth has sadly passed away aged 89

Known for hosting some of Britain’s best loved gameshows such as The Price is Right, Play Your Cards Right and the Generation game during a career that spanned over 70 years where in 2012 he gained recognition from the Guinness World Records for having the longest on-screen television career for a male entertainer.

Having been knighted by the queen in 2011 the BBC reported recently that the immensely popular entertainer had been unwell for some time undergoing surgery in 2015 having suffered multiple aneurysms.

Tributes are pouring in from footballers, journalists, actors and thousands of his many fans from all over the world.

The British Prime minister paid her respects as well calling Forsyth a “national treasure.”
