An inflatable bouncy castle exploded killing a 6-year-old girl after she was forcefully catapulted into the air 13 meters.
Six other children aged as young as three were on the bouncy castle at the time of the incident on Sunday in Girona, Spain.
The young girl passed away in intensive care just a few hours after she sustained serious injuries.
An Air ambulance rushed to the scene taking three children including a 9-year-old boy to hospital, aswell as others suffering from minor injuries.
Pieces of the castle were found over thirty-seven meters away from where the explosion occurred, it is thought the pressure increased due to a failed valve causing the inflatable to explode.
5 fire crews, 2 helicopters and 7 ambulances and police authorities were quick to respond to the incident outside of Caldes de Malavella.
