A girl who is currently in hospital in South Korea could be brought home to receive treatment in Thailand with the assistance of the Foreign Ministry.
Spokesperson Ms Busadee Santipitak has given assurances that they will do everything within their power to bring graduate Ms Rapeeporn Nasa-an home.
Somporn Kuasuwan, the girl’s aunt, sought the aid of the Kalasin provincial governor, who in turned has coordinated with the ministry in the hope of bringing the young student home.
It is unclear what actually happened to Ms Rapeeporn Nasa-an other than she suffered from shock and as a result, lost consciousness, before being rushed to hospital.
Her friends were forced to abandon her and return home without her.
