Nato Deploy Troops To Poland

Nato will deploy around 1100 troops into Orzysz in Poland to combat the threat from Russia. The multi-national force will be stationed 35 miles (57 km) from Kalingrad, where the Russians have placed nuclear-capable missiles.

The move is intended to demonstrate NATO’s unity against any potential threat according to NATO Supreme Allied Commander Europe, General Curtis Scaparrotti.

Polish President Andrzej Duda called the deployment a historic moment “awaited for by generations”.
