Britain’s Queen Elizabeth visited the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital where she met many of the victims, being treated for their injuries received at the bombing in the Manchester Arena.
The Queen chatted to many of the youngsters, who were thrilled she had taken the time to visit them.
Some 19 people are still under the care of doctors and nurses at the hospital.
Her majesty spoke to patients and medical staff during her visit. She described the terrorist attack as “wicked”.
Five of those being treated at the hospital are in a critical condition.
A total of 22 people lost their lives following the Ariana Grande concert, with scores more injured.
Around 116 casualties were treated in various hospitals, with 23 still in what was described as “serious or critical” condition.
