A special ceremony is scheduled to take place in Sweden to honour His Late Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
Who on April 5, 1950, received the highest honour attainable in Sweden being bestowed the Knight of the Swedish Royal Order of the Seraphim.
As tradition dictates when a Knight dies a parade of Royal Honour Guards will take King Bhumibol’s Coat of Arms from the Stockholm Palace to Riddarholmen Church, the ceremony will take place on October 26, to coincide with the late Kings cremation here in Thailand.
A ceremony will then take place from 12 until 1pm called Serafimerringningen, where church bells will be rung continuously throughout.
Once the ceremony is complete the late King’s Coat of Arms will remain at the church.
