Commerce Minister Apiradi Tantraporn is looking at the possibility of increasing trade with Israel.

Currently Israel imports goods to the value of $675m, which includs, precious gems, vehicle parts and components and food. Israel exported fuel, plastics and textiles to the Kingdom in deals worth around $393m.

The minister is keen to bolster trade between the two nations, urging businesses in Thailand to maintain the high quality and productivity of goods being sold abroad.

Increases in exports are expected to be in the region of 1.5%
