Two white officers receive no charges over killing of black man
It has been reported that two Caucasian officers that shot and killed a black man in Louisiana last year will not be charged.
Police were called because of reports that Alton Sterling had a gun outside a shop, he then appeared to be held down on the floor by the two police officers before being shot by them, this was all caught on video footage.
The thirty seven year old use to sell CDs outside a supermarket before he was killed there, hundreds of people attended the place of his death in protest.
At the time of his death, the police had been in the news increasingly a lot involving them shooting black Americans. A few weeks after his death police were getting ambushed and killed, aswell as more incidents of black men getting shot by police officers.
Having a new White House administration team could have something todo with the final decision of not charging the officers, but Louisiana still have the potential to charge them separately.
