Over 50 homes have been badly damaged when a powerful thunderstorm hit a Tambon in the Si Sa Ket province last night.
The storm hit at nightfall and lasted for roughly one hour affecting many of the houses in Tambon Pho of None khoon.
The majority of the homes that sustained damage had their roofs completely blown off as a result of the storms strong winds.
Si Sa Ket’s governor is currently out of the country visiting Japan but after hearing reports of the damage caused by the storm has ordered his provincial administration to quickly aid those affected.
Yesterday the Meteorological Department issued a warning to much of the kingdom including Pattaya to brace for thunderstorms from tomorrow.
