A con artist wanted on charges for bouncing checks worth millions in Pattaya and Sri Racha was arrested at a petrol station in Bang Plee on Thursday.
Siripanya Deebunchai, 49, was apprehended after a warrant was issued by Pattaya police in October 2016 for fraud involving a 40 million baht land deal in Rayong.
When police looked into the matter further they discovered several other cases of fraud including another 10 million baht case from Chonburi.
Siripanya also had four warrents out for his arrest for writing dodgy checks in other deals in Pattaya and Sri Racha totalling a further 20 million baht.
The crafty swindler was detained by CSD police and sent to Sri Racha where he will face further questions.
