Police in Pattaya carried out a raid on a condominium in the early hours Saturday morning arresting three people on drugs offenses and taking no chances took their two pet dogs to the station as well.

After receiving a tip officers accompanied by district officials carried out a raid on a room at a condominium complex located on Jomtien Beach Road and took into custody two ladyboys and a woman, all three were later charged with possession of drugs and drug use.

The raid was supervised by Sattahip district chief Pongphan Yommas and the commander of the Na Jomtien police force, Pol Col Solos Lamsa-ard.

The two ladyboys were named as Banpot Chaikhanom, 30, and Yosita Wongphayuk, 31, their female companion was identified as Rujiphat Nutchanee, 26.

At the time of their arrest officers found 1.32g of crystal methamphetamine along with drug taking apparatus inside of their room.

As they were being led away the two ladyboys pleaded for their two pet dogs a Chihuahua and a Spitz to be allowed to come along as they were never left alone.

Officer allowed for the dogs to be taken to the station where they briefly spent some time behind bars before members of the suspect’s families came to collect the canines.

There was no mention in the report if officers charged the two dogs with any offences.
