A seminar was held here in Pattaya on March 13 with members of the Chonburi Immigration Office and officials from the Sustainable Tourism Administration.
For the purpose of coming to an understanding regarding sharing information about foreign residents and where they are living whilst staying here in Thailand.
The seminar was led by Bang Lamung District Chief Naris Niramaiwong during which representatives from the two organizations signed an agreement to work together to create a database on foreign nationals and their residences.
Speaking about the seminar Chonburi Immigration Chief Pol Col Srongprode Sirisuka said its purpose is to improve security and by having the most up to date information regarding peoples residences police officers will be able to locate missing people or criminals quicker.
