A sigh on Jomtien beach road reminding people to follow the law has become a hazard to the public after rusting away and falling down the pole it was attached to, blocking the footpath
The sign displays 10 laws written in Thai and was put in place by local authorities in an effort to encourage the public to adhere to the laws.
Thankfully there was a kind-hearted unnamed tourist on hand to point out the new beachfront hazard.
Local motorbike taxi operators said that the sign had been like this for months despite authorities being made aware.
They said countless citizens and tourists had walked into the sign whilst on their phones or not when not paying attention to where they were walking, many injuring themselves.
You would assume that after authorities made a big deal about the heights of the signs in walking street that instances such as this would have been on the top of their to do list to sort out.
