A meeting was chaired by Deputy Mayor Vichien Pongpanit, on August 15 and was attended by Apichart Virapal from the Office of Strategy and Budget.
Other officials and members of the public to discuss the city’s development plans over the next three years.
Topics discussed included safety, the economy and the city’s infrastructure.
City officials made it clear that they wanted to focus their efforts over the next three years on making the city safer for both residents and tourists, boosting the economy and turning Pattaya into a business hub as well as improving the quality of life for all residents.
The Public at the meeting had a different and a bit more practical vision for the next three years, urging the officials to fix the roads in the city, improve the sewage and drainage systems and also improve the electrical grid.
