The heavy machinery was out and about again on November 15 when Pattaya’s “pothole patrol” was called into action to fix a stretch of road at the intersection between Thepprasit and Sukhumvit which is reportedly often prone to flooding.
Following recent heavy downpours the locals had voiced concerns about several large holes that had opened up close to the Kua Sangjan restaurant.
Not to worry though the holes are now gone, for the time being anyway after a crew turned up to patch the holes equipped with a large roller, tarmac and crushed rock.
Pattaya city officials have asked for understanding from both residents and tourists saying they are working hard to fix potholes around the city but it will take some time.
After recent heavy rains have caused damage to many roads across the city.
