The chief of the Pattaya police force is encouraging his officers to get fitter and healthier by attending a weekly exercise class, which had officers taking part in Zumba
Pol. Col. Apichai Kroppech said that the new Wednesday classes are designed to help officers reduce stress levels and improve their fitness which should in turn make them more efficient officers.
During their first class officers took part in Zumba which is a dance fitness program that has been around since the 1990’s where the officers taking part appeared to enjoy performing a variety of moves to all sorts of music including Hip-Hop and Salsa.
The new fitness classes have been organised to comply with the government’s new policy for its workers health.
The classes that are taking place at the Soi 9 police station are also open to the public should anyone want to take part.
