The prisoners of Pattaya Soi 9 jail where singing the praises of a group of foreigners who came to their aid and unblocked their toilet
One of the toilets in the jail had been blocked and unusable for about three weeks before the kind hearted volunteers stepped up to the task of unblocking it.
The good deed was carried out by Margaret Grainger, Ole Eie, Jelson Panes and a Thai national known as Wee.
Margaret claimed it took them nearly two hours to get the toilet back up and running last Friday. All the volunteers were part of the Hand to Hand Foundation here in Pattaya who work with those in need.
The foundation visits the prison three times per week taking inmates food and water.
The Hand to Hand Foundation also provides educational programmes and scholarships to children from local slums and helps those from poor at risk areas of the city.
