Pattaya mayor happy as renovations to Bali Hai port are on schedule

Pattaya’s Mayor Anan Charoenchasri appeared in good spirits when he announced that the Bali Hai renovation project and surrounding infrastructure works were on schedule.

Even though the project suffered several minor delays due to weather conditions the project which is expected to cost 800 million baht is expected to be complete by the end of October.

The International Fleet show is descending upon Pattaya from October 13 to 22 of November with many different nations in attendance and high level dignitaries including Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha are scheduled to attend.

Of the 800 million baht budget, 200 million baht has been spent on landscaping with the rest of the budget spent on building work at the port.

Mayor Anan announced that 70 percent of the work is now complete and although weather conditions have caused some delay the work would be completed on time.
