Ramayana is Thailand’s one water park, 3rd in all of Asia and 19th in the world. What is more astonishing is in spite of being so huge; it still has plenty of room to expand with a goal to make it a world class Theme Park and Resort right outside of Pattaya.
Opened in 2016 with an investment of Bt1.5 billion on a 106-rai area surrounded by the beautiful nature of Khao Chee Chan and Silver Lake Winery, The Ramayana Water Park serves 7,500 tourists per day, reported sales director at Ramayana, Johannes Pattermann.
He further plans to invest in amusement facilities such as roller coasters and thrill rides that will not include water attractions, to cater maximum tourists.
Pattaya, mostly enjoyed by singles or couples is now changing into a family destination with sports tourism.
And The Ramayana Water Park is playing a very significant role in being this change of aspect by serving on a larger scale.
Though no specific date is scheduled for the expansion work, the clearing of lands and constructions hint an early progress.
