A Swiss man went to the Pattaya police after realising that a lady boy he had taken to his Walking Street hotel room had made off with his credit card and run up a bill of over 50,000 baht.
In a joint effort from both Pattaya police and tourist police an arrest was quickly made and the suspect soon confessed to the crime.
Raffael Denungs, 29, seen smiling in the picture with Pattaya police officers, took Sutthipong Lamsoong, 33, back to his hotel room but later on realised his credit card had vanished.
He alerted the police after 55,828 baht in goods were charged to his card according to reports on Sophon Cable TV.
The suspect was arrested by officers in Chalerm Prakiat 2.
Upon interrogation Sutthipong confessed to the crime as well as a similar theft back in 2011, which was asked to be taken into consideration.
Sutthipong was charged with theft as well as credit card theft.
