The Sustainable Energy and Technology Asia symposium taking place in Bangkok next month will be focusing on the effect the world’s digital revolution has had on transforming the energy production sectors as well as ways to further develop clean-energy sources.
The event being supported by multiple organisations here in Thailand including the ministries of Energy, Science and Technology, Digital Economy and Society, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration among many others will also look at the technological and financial challenges that increasing clean-energy output will involve.
The symposium is scheduled to take place from March 21 to 23 at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre in Bang Na.
The man responsible for organising the event Dr Tatchai Sumitra said today that this would be the first international gathering held in Thailand which would address the “whole pipeline of energy.”
Tatchai hailed the event as a major step towards cooperation between private sectors and state-run energy providers.
Tatchai noted that he expects over 10,000 people from over 50 nations to attend the symposium.
