It is officially 2017! What does this mean for you?

Well if you are from one of the following 37 nations, it means that you now will be granted a 30-day visa exemption instead of a 15 day exemption when you come to Thailand via a land border crossing.

  • Belgium
  • Bahrain
  • Brunei
  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • Estonia
  • Finland
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • Iceland
  • Indonesia
  • Ireland
  • Israel
  • Kuwait
  • Liechtenstein
  • Luxembourg
  • Malaysia
  • Monaco
  • Netherlands
  • New Zealand
  • Norway
  • Oman
  • Philippines
  • Poland
  • Portugal
  • Qatar
  • Singapore
  • Slovakia
  • Slovenia
  • Spain
  • South Africa
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland
  • Turkey

In addition to the above countries, if you have a passport from Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Laos, Macao, Mongolia, UK or Russia, you can be granted the 30 day exemption via air or land crossing as well.

There has been no change to the above 37 countries 30 day visa exemption by air.
