Five Thai tourists lost their lives on Wednesday night when there boat capsized in Chumphon Bay as a result of strong winds and high waves.
The Vessel ChokThara 2 went down near KohNgam and KohKalok while ferrying tourists to a snorkelling trip off of the islands.
Authorities were alerted at 9pm and rescue crews found eight tourists and three crew members, however five tourists were still unaccounted for.
Governor of Chumphon, Narong Polla-iad announced on Thursday that rescue teams later found four women and one man trapped inside the capsized boat.
Sadly all of whom had lost their lives
