The expression it’s raining cats and dogs is fairly well known buts cars?

Locals in Soi Phai Singto were woken to an unusual sight after a 62-year- old motorist managed to somehow crash through the wall on the fourth floor of a car park and plummet to the ground below.

Officers said the incident happened at 10:30pm on Saturday night on Soi Phai Singto just off of Rama IV road in Bangkok.

Perhaps not wanting to drive down the four storeys the grey Isuzu smashed through the wall of the Crown Property Bureau building landing on its bonnet in the street below.

The car’s driver was named as Anukul Wannasuk and rather miraculously managed to escape the accident with just a bump on the head though he was treated at the scene he was taken to hospital as a precaution.

Police suspect Anukul put the car in the wrong gear causing him to go forward instead of backwards out of the car parking space, no mention was made to the driver having been intoxicated at the time on the incident.
