The family of Christopher John Russel, 80, a British national are appealing for any information about his whereabouts following his disappearance in Phuket on November 15.
The last sighting of Mr Russel was him exiting a taxi outside of a Tesco’s store close to Surin Beach on Wednesday.
The 80-year-old arrived in Phuket having just returned from Cambodia on November 9, to visit family.
Family members are understandably worried stating that this is very out of character for him and that he does not know the area at all.
Mr Russel was recorded on CCTV exiting the taxi on Soi Pasak 4 at 8:53am.
Family members have since filed a missing person’s report with the Cherng Talay Police after repeated attempts to contact or locate Mr Russel failed.
It was noted that Mr Russel has been prone to confusion in the past.
Phuket news reported that family members in the UK stated that he is in the initial stages of onset dementia and suffers from mild diabetes.
Anyone with any information as to the whereabouts of Mr Russel can contact family members on 061-1735550.
