Another mild quake hits in Lamphun, Thailand

An earthquake measuring 1.3 on the Richter scale was recorded by the Seismological Bureau of the Meteorological Department early on Monday morning, centred in Lamphun’s Muang district.

The earthquake happened at 6.35am at a reported depth of 1.3 kilometres, there have been no reports of the incident causing any damage.

Recently the Northern provinces have been victim to a series of mild earthquakes.

Sunday there was a 3.1-magnitude earthquake as well as five mild quakes recorded in the province last Thursday.
