ROI ET, 3rd July 2018 (NNT) – Soldiers from Military Circle 27 have set up a temporary kitchen to serve residents of Baan Non Chiang Wang of Roi Et province after three days of flooding left them without access to food supplies.

The military unit also provided the flood victims of Pon Thong District with medical care. The kitchen is being run by both soldiers and volunteers and is serving close to 100 households from which daily travel is severely impeded by flood waters.

Deputy Commander of Military Circle 27 Col Tawachai Chaengprajak assured residents that the kitchen would provide meals until waters subside. Pon Thong Police are also in the area handling security for the village with further assistance being requested.
