An blast in a Bangkok hospital has resulted in 25 people being injured.
At first it was believed to be an electrical explosion but Thailand’s deputy police chief Srivara Ransibrahmanakul confirmed that it was a bomb.
Traces of batteries and electric wiring have been discovered at the scene.
The explosion occurred at 11:00 this morning, in a reception area in the Royal Thai Army affiliated Phramongkutklao Hospital.
Civilians along with military personal are treated at the hospital in the capital.
It has been three years since the military junta seized power in Thailand and this is believed to the reason behind the bombing.
