Snake wranglers had a busy day on Monday after being called to two different locations to catch two large pythons
The first snake was captured by rescue workers from the Kusoldharm Foundation after receiving reports of the snake being spotted in a house in Soi Sup Sikor 4.
When workers arrived the python had curled up around the cross beam in the roof of the house and after putting up a short fight was subdued.
Rescue workers measure the snake which was found to be 3-metres long and weighed 15 kilograms.
Shortly after the rescue team received a report of a second python being spotted hiding under a 18-wheel truck in Phuket town.
They carefully used a snare to catch the second 3-metre long python of the day by its head before another worker pulled it free of the truck by its tale.
Both pythons were released into the Khao Phra Thaeo Non-Hunting area in Thalang.
