Sixty thousand people are expected to turn to see Coldplay at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok tomorrow evening.
Coldplay have of course played in Thailand before back in 2003 but this time they have a much larger arena.
Organisers are advising that concert goers should allow plenty of time to travel to the venue to avoid disappointment as traffic jams are likely leading up to the gig. Parking is at a premium with no parking in or around the stadium. If driving be prepared to use one of the nearby malls and of course a fee will apply.
Grab Taxi application is offering 50 baht off all hires that go to and from the stadium. Book using code GRABYELLOW to get your discount
A Head Full Of Dreams Tour is the bands seventh major tour and features 60 concerts over three continents. So far in April 2017, they have visited Singapore and Manila before arriving in Bangkok and will travel to Taipei, Seoul and Tokyo to conclude the April gigs.
For those that are going – enjoy the gig. Let us know what you thought of the show.
For those in Bangkok who are not attending the concerts, advice is to stay well away from the area or face lengthy queues on the roads.
