It seems love really has no age limit here in Thailand after reports that a couple with a combined age of 196 got hitched in Bang Sai, Ayutthaya yesterday.
100-year-old Sanga Seedorkbuab tied the knot with his bride Win Seedorkbuab, 96 at a ceremony which included all the usual Thai customs.
A doctor noted that the couple might have the oldest combined age of anyone that has ever wed in Thailand.
A video of the happy couple’s special days has been widely shared on Thai social media with many people wishing them well.
During the video a lively looking Sanga can be seen strolling through the marriage gate to hand over money as is custom before the couple had their hands blessed by those attending the wedding.
It was noted that the couple already had the same last name leading many to summarise that they may have been married previously or that they had just decided to make their marriage official.
The couples wedding took place at a health centre called Wellness City which is a facility which cares for the elderly.
The video of the elderly couples wedding has been shared over 30,000 times since it was uploaded yesterday.
