Warning as temps rise

As temperatures soar as high as 38 degrees, many people have taken to cooling down in the countries many public waterways.

However, doctors in the Maha Sarakham area, have warned that people could be exposed to dangerous bacteria if they swim in creeks, swamps, marches, ponds or reservoirs.

In some areas the water is unclean and infested with harmful bacteria and although the temptation to cool down is great, you could be exposing yourself to conjunctivitis for instance.

Ear infections are also highly likely should you go or a dip.

Should you develop any nasty infections, you should consult with a doctor immediately and only use prescribed treatments.
