Elmo the puppet famous for referring to himself in the third-person on Sesame Street since the 70’s uploaded some snaps to Facebook of his recent trip to Thailand.
Accompanying his pictures of his recent travels which included a trip to the Grand Palace was a short description of his time in the kingdom which stated that the puppet somehow managed to enjoy some “yummy foods, like durian.”
He also apparently went on a river boat ride and made some new friends though it is not clear who the new friends are.
One famous Bangkok expat and online commenter Zachary Sullivan left a comment on the post alleging that he spotted the famous kids show puppet on a night out in Bangkok’s popular Nana district and posted a photo to prove it.
The bright red puppet is touring the globe as part of Sesame Streets “spread kindness” campaign which has the aim of promoting kindness through laughter.
It remains to be seen if the famous puppet made it as far as Pattaya’s Walking Street.
