Erawan Waterfall closed for swimming after heavy rains

Officials have had to suspend swimming at the famous Erawan Waterfall in Nakhon Nayok today (October 9).

Heavy rains have resulted in an increase in the water level making the current dangerous.

The announcement that swimming was banned was made via the Erawan National Park Facebook page.

The announcement stated that both the first and second levels of the waterfall would remain open for viewing but swimming is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
