Facebook have blocked the remaining 131 links, which Thailand’s authorities, deemed illegal, following the arrival of the court orders they requested.

A facebook spokesperson announced that the content would be unavailable and a notification would be issued explaining the situation to its users, should they try to view the links.

The latest content blocking takes the total to somewhere in the region of 7000 pages or links being unavailable to web users.

The new computer crime act that came into play last Wednesday, will be followed by a number of announcements, providing guidelines for users of the internet.
