Fifteen Myanmar crew members, were rescued on Wednesday from their sinking ship.
Fortunately for the crew, a passing fishing boat was within reach before the boat sinks.
They were transporting cargo from Penang in Malaysia to Myeik in Myanmar, formally Burma. Their vessel got into trouble near Racha Noi Island, following storms.
As the boat began to take on water, the captain told them to abandon it and use lifeboats but there was no need as the fishing boat had already spotted their predicament.
There were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.
