A man, who was on the run, for thirteen years, was handed over to Thai authorities from Myanmar on Thursday.
Supat Laohawattana, 63, a former police doctor, had been given the death sentence for murdering a Myanmar worker in Phetchaburi.
He fled before the court could pass judgement.
His two sons, Ake and Akara were also charged with the murder. Doctor Laohawattana was sentenced to death in his absence along with Ake, with Akara receiving 25 years in prison.
Now it seems his fate is sealed.
