Officers in Bangkok arrested four people from South Korea yesterday for running online gambling websites.
Officers from the Crime Suppression Division raided a two-storey house on Soi Pridi Banomyong in the Vadhana district at 5pm last night (October 17).
Taken away as evidence were five computers, five laptops, 10 monitors and a collection of mobiles and hard drives.
The four said they had been renting the house for almost a year paying 130,000 baht per month.
Officers said that the suspects admitted to running a gambling website with more than 10,000 members, most of who were in South Korea.
They allegedly told officers that they had 60 million won (1.75 million baht) in circulation earning profits of around 30 million won (875,000 baht) per month.
The identities of the four suspects have not yet been released.
