Nikolaj Coster-Waldau better known as his on screen counterpart Jamie Lannister from the smash television hit Game of Thrones will be an honorary judge at the Global Goals World Cup.

Which is a women’s football competition taking place in Bangkok on September 30th.

The Danish actor will be at the games held at the NIST International School, Sukhumvit Soi 15 as advertised by the schools website.

The Global Goals Competition was started by the United Development Programme designed to raise awareness on issues such as poverty, inequality and climate change.

The competition has taken place in a number of cities including New York, Copenhagen and more recently Nairobi in March.

Women over the age of 18 are encouraged to enter teams of five and select a campaign from the list of 17 topics on the registration form that includes the likes of “no poverty” and “peace, justice and strong institutions.”

Special points will be awarded for creative ways teams choose to support their chosen topic, before a series for friendly matches will be played, refereed by the notorious Jamie Lannister.
