The band’s Asia tour will start in Singapore on March 8, then move on to Bangkok on March 11. After that, it’s Manila on March 14, with stops in Taipei, Hong Kong, South Korea and Japan to follow.

The band played in Bangkok for the first time in 1996 at MBK Hall, and followed that debut show up with a performance in 2010 playing at Impact Area Muang Thong Thani.

The upcoming 2020 Bangkok gig will also take place at Impact Arena Muang Thong Thani, an indoor arena that can seat up to 12,000 people. Ticketing details will be announced on a later date by local promoters.

Green Day was formed in 1986 in California and burst on to the punk rock scene — before hitting major mainstream success — upon the release of its major label debut Dookie in 1994.
