Best prepare for a wet few days ahead as the Thai Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains for most of the kingdom until the weekend as a result of a north-westerly wind making its way across the Gulf of Thailand.
Experts are predicting heavy rains across the central, north, east and south parts of the kingdom right up until Sunday after which the arrival of a cold air mass from China will result in temperatures in the north of the country dripping by as much as 6 degrees Celsius.
The Met office is advising people in affected areas which includes Bangkok and Pattaya to prepare for strong winds and wet weather conditions and be prepared for the possibility of flash flooding, farmers have also been warned that their crops might be damaged as a result.
