Just when you thought all hope for society was lost, something good pops up to provide optimism for mankind.
A Thai motorbike taxi driver displayed extreme honesty when he discovered a wallet, near his place of work, with over 26,000 baht inside.
Forty-five-year-old Rangsan Kingkaew from Sisaket, did not consider keeping the money for himself. The upstanding taxi driver called a local radio station with the intention of finding the owner of the wallet.
With the help of Radio FM 91, the wallet and its contents were soon back with its rightful owner, Kriangkrai Suralertkun, from Bangkok.
Following the handover at the radio station, Mr. Kingkaew received 1500 baht for his integrity.
It is fair to say that in this day and age, most of us would have expected never to have seen the wallet again.
Fair play to Rangsan, the world needs more people like you!
