Both soldiers and police have started a manhunt aimed at catching a group of foreign men who are said to be riding large motorcycles in connection to an assault on a British bar owner in Surin.
Soldiers from the Surin Office of Internal Security Operations Command and Muang Surin police officers both went to the “Monkey House Bar” yesterday to interrogate the owner Ashley Buil, 57, and his wife Narisara Boonchart, 39.
Authorities visited the “monkey House” after an employee at the bar took to Facebook posting that her boss had been attacked by the group of men on both Friday and Saturday nights and they also damaged the bar and local police had yet to do anything about it.
The post on Facebook claimed all of the men belonged to a motorcycle club as they were all wearing cloth’s branded with either “Outlaw Nomad” or “Outlaw Thailand.”
Narisara told officers that her husband had thrown one of the foreign men out of the bar nearly two year’s ago because of his behaviour when he got drunk.
