The Metrological Department of Thailand has warned the public to brace themselves for more severe weather and the possibility of flooding until Friday 28th of July
As of 1am on the 26th of July the depression moved in from Laos to the Northeast of Thailand resulting in expected heavy rainfall in Northeast and Central regions of Thailand.
They are warning people in these areas to be prepared for the possibility of flash flooding.
Until the 28th they also expect the southern region to experience heavy rain as a strong southwest monsoon is occurring over the Andama Sea and the south of the country, likely to result in large waves in the sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand.
Vessels are being advised to exercise extra caution and smaller boats should remain on the shores until after the 28th.
