KFC is the latest chain to announce that they will be closing to allow their staff to pay their final respects to the late beloved King Bhumibol Adulyadej on October 26, with all stores across the kingdom to close by 3pm.

Stores in Tesco lotus locations will close at 2pm and KFC’s delivery service will take final orders at 1:30pm.

Restaurants will open again as per normal on October 27.

KFC management released a statement which said they “fully support” their employees participating in royal cremation ceremonies across the kingdom.
