Officials estimated that roughly 40,000 mourners began queuing outside of the Grand Palace this morning to pay their respects.
Before the Royal Urn ahead of the final day tomorrow that people will be permitted into the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall.
So far over 12 million members of the public have paid their respects to the late King Bhumibol Aduladej since his death on October 13 of last year.
The late beloved monarch’s funeral will begin on October 25 lasting until October 29.
Police and volunteers handed out supplies to the vast number of mourners queuing outside the palace today.
Some people were turned away late last night and had come back early this morning to try and be admitted again.
The Royal Household Bureau announced that mourners had donated a total of 876,090,282.76 baht so far to date.
