Monk Borrows Car and Slams Into Tree

A monk who borrowed his friend’s car, slammed it into a tree and found himself to be trapped in the vehicle.

The incident happened close to his Suphan Buri temple.

The unfortunate monk received a broken arm and a not so serious leg injury. The car however was not so lucky.

Bunrit Pheungcharoen, 19, was found trapped in an orange car, draped in his orange clothing, when someone took the liberty of snapping a photo of the poor man.

A passenger in the vehicle was unconscious when medics arrived and taken to hospital. It is unclear how serious or what the nature is of the injuries are for the passenger.

It alleged the monk was driving at high speed when he lost control soon after borrowing the car.
